The AS Resinas plant is the largest and most modern gum rosin and turpentine production plant operating in the Brazilian market. Our plant is capable of processing 36,000 tons of Oleo Pine Resin per year. And it’s located in the largest forest in the state of São Paulo, with more than 40,000 hectares of pine forests.

Trucks carrying Oleo Pine Resin arrive at the factory and are inspected by our receiving team. To guarantee that all resins received at the plant meet our quality control standards, they are tested by our laboratory and classified according to their characteristics, and types of trees. Gas Chromatography analyzes allow us to identify and process separately the different orgins of oleopine resins from Pinus Elliotii, Tropical Pinus or Pinus Hybrid.

The classified cargo is allocated on our patio based on its specification and is subsequently unloaded into processing tanks, beginning the industrialization process.

Industrialization Process

Our plant has two tanks for receiving Oleo Pine Resin, from which we derive two production lines, totally independent from beginning to end, eliminating any chance of contamination during production. During the industrialization process, the Oleo Pine Resin is filtered, decanted, and distilled to separate gum rosin from turpentine.
